I have always enjoyed working with kids, so becoming a pediatric dentist was a perfect fit! Pediatric dentistry is such a special profession and gives me the opportunity to build such strong relationships with both my patients and their families at such a young age and watch them grow into amazing adults.
I firmly believe in educating children about the importance of dental care at a young age, for if they can enjoy the dentist as a child, they are set up for a successful future in their oral health journey. Being able to help patients improve and maintain their oral health, as well as gain confidence and happiness through their smile is what makes my job so rewarding.
Every child is different, and I take pride in taking the time to learn about each child as the individual they are and discover what works best for them. There is nothing more satisfying than helping children overcome their fears/anxieties about the dental office and learn that the dentist can be fun!

Beyond the Office
After growing up in a small town in Southern Minnesota, I made my way up to the Twin Cities area to pursue my love for dentistry. Along the way, I was lucky enough to find my husband, Drew! We travelled across the country, living in Connecticut and Chicago before settling back in the Twin Cities area.
We currently reside in south metro with our 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 year old son! We love being able to explore the outdoors with our son and animals, seeing the beautiful nature that Minnesota has to offer. As my husband and I met biking, we love try out the multitude of mountain biking and paved trails throughout Minnesota.
Giving Back
I currently serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, educating both dental students and residents on the variety of aspects and procedures involved in pediatric dentistry. I also work at the Cleft and Craniofacial clinics at the University of Minnesota, working as a part of a specialized team to provide care for patients with cleft lip and palate, as well as many other complete craniofacial conditions.
